Key Learnings from Aravind Eye Hospital

1. Knowledge and capabilities are not inborn; perfection comes from hard work and the absence of fear of failure.
2. Money and Power are not needed for success. Humility and perseverance however, are.
3. We must be prepared to break away from our pre-existing mental blocks to truly strive for success.
4. One must learn to accept failure and live for a cause. We must pursue our heart's passion with selflessness and strive to improve the quality of life of those around us.

[Team Rainbow] - Learnings from Aravind Eye Hospital

1. Nothing is impossible in this world. Age is not a barrier for doing any work if person has beliefs and conviction for his work.
2. Like Dr. V, if one has a sustainable model then people are always there to support and help you.
3. Once you have a passion for your work, then go for it with maximum dedication.
4. The joy which you get in helping and giving something to other, is the most important thing in this world.
5. If one can get power of innerself and self motivation like Dr. V, he can achieve anything.
6. Work should be done from heart and keep enjoying what you do.
7. Roadblocks can only be seen when you not seen the success.

Constellation :GroupCSecA's take-away from Aravind

Karthik: "It is always better to covert the place in you are present into a heaven, rather than searching for a place in heaven, which Dr V has chosen to do in his life." Jothsna:"Stop thinking of how much of a difference an individual could make in his world, just start making the difference like what Dr V has done." Kishore:"If Dr V had waited for things to get better, it would have never happened and hence it is always better to act immediately." Kewal:"If you have a vision which is compelling enough and the motivation which is contagious, then through sheer necessity of achieving that goal, you will innovate and find ways to gather the resources required and will make it happen." Jeffie:"If one has the passion and will power to help others, then the universe will conspire to make it happen as in the case of Aravind, you will discover the divinity and the ultimate truth" Ishan:"If you have a vision and don't get bogged down by failures, you'll eventually." succeed.
